Neko Harbour on the Antarctic Peninsula located in Andvord Bay at the southern end of the scenic Errera Channel in Antarctica. Neko Harbour, named after an old floating factory of the Salvesen whaling fleet that, from 1911, anchored here on and off for almost 20 seasons. Now it is the home to many Gentoo penguins and the harbour is surrounded by active glaciers. Neko Harbour is notorious for its calving glaciers. The beach is also prone to large and unpredictable waves following a calving.
