Marguerite Bay along the Fallieres Coast is located on the west side of the Antarctic Peninsula, South of the Antarctic Circle. This area is well known for large tabular ice bergs that have drifted up form the Ross ice-shelf. It is very uncommon for expeditions to reach this area and off limits to most ships, as it is only accessible for a short time in the Austral summer and extremely difficult to navigate. Marguerite Bay has some of the most pristine scenery in the Antarctic Peninsula.
