Brown Bluff was a Continental landing near Hope Bay in Antarctica. This image shows the top of a glacier with blowing Katabatic Winds. Katabatic winds are winds that carry high density air from a higher elevation down a slope under the force of gravity. Katabatic winds can rush down elevated slopes at hurricane speeds.
