At 64˚ 09˚S 61˚ 07˚ W Cierva Cove is on the west side of the Antarctic Peninsula . The area is filled with icebergs, various species of seals, penguins and whales. We came upon this dramatic striated iceberg in our Zodiac just before midnight. Ths setting sun caused the mountains in the background to glow yellow which is something I will never forget.
