62˚ 36˚S 59˚ 55˚W A spectacular midnight sunset on the Errera Channel in Antarctica. The channel separates Arctowski Peninsula from Ronge Island. Spectacular
sunsets with vistas of sheet ice, glaciers, icebergs and wildlife. The scene started at about 11PM as we were headed down the Lemaire Channel. The light just kept getting better and better and I continued non stop shooting unitl almost 4 AM at which point it started to get brighter meaning we would be having a spectacular sunrise to shoot. I truly felt like a kid in a candy jar. The back of the boat looked like the above. The ripples of our engine in the calm water created this pattern of pink and blue. The front of the boat was almost the reverse color pattern mostly blue with pink. I kept running for hours from the stern to the bow and back again filling card after card with images.
